Andrew Gaze Re-Signs as NBL1 Men’s Head Coach for 2026!

The Melbourne Tigers are excited to announce that Andrew Gaze will return as Head Coach of our NBL1 Men’s team for the upcoming season.

Last season was a special one for the Tigers, as our NBL1 Men made their first Grand Final appearance ever in the NBL1 South competition, reigniting the passion and pride of the Tigers family. Under Andrew’s leadership, the team played an exciting brand of basketball while uniting our community and strengthening the club. The Melbourne Tigers were awarded the NBL1 South Club of the Year at the 2025 NBL1 South Awards Night

Andrew’s story is forever tied to the Melbourne Tigers. From his illustrious career with the Tigers under his father Lindsay, Andrew quickly became the face of the club and now in his role as Head Coach, Andrew’s connection to the red and yellow runs deeper than anyone. His influence has helped shape generations of Tigers players and fans, making his return on the sidelines all the more significant.

We’re proud to welcome Andrew back to lead our NBL1 Men in 2026 and look forward to going one step further in 2026.
