Mason Gaze re-signs to the Tigers for NBL1 2026!

The Melbourne Tigers are excited to announce that Mason Gaze has re-signed for the upcoming NBL1 South season.

A name synonymous with the Tigers program, Mason continues to play a crucial role within the club. Last season, the athletic 6’7” wing averaged 12 points, 3 assists, 5.73 rebounds per game and was key in bringing the team to their first NBL1 South Grand Final appearance, consistently impacting contests with his versatility on both ends of the floor.

Known for his quick release and ability to comfortably shoot over defenders, Mason stretches the floor offensively while his ability to read unfolding plays allows him to influence games defensively. His length, athleticism, and basketball IQ make him a matchup problem, and with the continued work he’s put in over the off-season, we can expect to see another step forward in his development this year.

Beyond his on-court contributions, Mason is a true club legend. He coaches the U14.1 Tigers Junior Boys, is a regular face across our development programs, and was deservedly recognised last season with the NBL1 South Local Legend Award in Round 12. His leadership, professionalism, and commitment to the Tigers community embody what our club stands for.

We can’t wait to see Mason back this season as he continues to build on his legacy.
