ELLIS BIGGAR JOINS THE MELBOURNE TIGERS!

The Rookie Me Melbourne Tigers are excited to announce the signing of Ellis Biggar for the upcoming NBL1 South season!

Standing at 6’10, Ellis brings a BIG presence to the court with his elite scoring ability, tenacity on the boards, and strong defensive capability. A player who can impact the game on multiple levels, Ellis is ready to make his mark in Tigers colours. Ellis joins us from the Nunawading Spectres, where he showcased his efficiency, averaging 7.5 points, 4 rebounds, and an impressive 50.88% field goal percentage last season. Ellis has also been noticed by South East Melbourne Phoenix as a training player for the past two NBL seasons.

Known for his work ethic and competitiveness, Ellis has developed into a versatile and reliable asset, capable of stepping up in big moments. Whether it’s putting points on the board, grabbing crucial rebounds, or creating opportunities for teammates, Ellis delivers wherever needed.

Head Coach Andrew Gaze is thrilled to welcome Ellis to the squad:
“We are delighted to have Ellis join our program.  He is an emerging talent who we hope to help him on his journey the NBL.  Ellis can play multiple positions, but we expect him to provide a huge presence around the basket at both ends of the floor. We welcome Ellis to our team, and we are delighted that he has chosen us to help him on his basketball journey.”

Ellis on joining the Melbourne Tigers:

“I’m really excited to join the Tigers NBL1 program. It’s going to be a lot of fun playing with such a talented group and great coaches. Looking forward to a championship season!”

Tigers fans, join us in welcoming Ellis Biggar to the Melbourne Tigers family! This season is shaping up to be something special, and we can’t wait to see Ellis hit the floor in red and gold.
