The Melbourne Tigers are thrilled to announce that Charlotte Brancatisano, captain of the Tigers’ NBL1 Women’s team, has officially re-signed for the 2025 season. A cornerstone of the team since she returned to the club this season, Brancatisano’s leadership both on and off the court has been pivotal to the Tigers.
Charlotte, known for her exceptional defensive abilities, has consistently led the Tigers with her intensity, court vision, and ability to shut down opposing players. Her tenacity in one-on-one matchups and her knack for reading the game have made her a defensive anchor for the squad, often tasked with guarding the oppositions best players.
As captain, Charlotte’s leadership was instrumental in 2024, helping in fostering a strong culture within the Tigers. She is a relentless competitor who inspires her teammates with her selfless acts and dedication, she is a real standard setter for the younger players.
