Brancatisano sisters join forces for the Tigers in NBL1 2026!

The Melbourne Tigers are excited to welcome back the Brancatisano sisters, with Isabella Brancatisano returning to the club and Charlotte Brancatisano re-signing for the 2026 NBL1 South season.

A returning Tigers junior, Isabella Brancatisano comes back to the club after spending time away and will once again pull on the red, yellow and black alongside her sister Charlotte. A proven performer in the NBL1 South competition, Isa brings experience, toughness, and elite defensive pedigree to the Tigers roster.

Named the 2023 NBL1 South Women’s Defensive Player of the Year, Isabella is coming off a strong 2024 season where she averaged 15 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 4 assists across 21 games, capped by a standout performance of 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists in the final game of the season. She also brings extensive WNBL experience, having played across multiple clubs, and is currently representing the University of Canberra Capitals, adding valuable elite-level experience to the program.

Charlotte Brancatisano, a proud Tigers junior and team leader, will return for 2026 after another strong season. Averaging 3.4 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists, Charlotte’s impact consistently extends beyond the stat sheet through her defensive presence, basketball IQ, and on-court leadership.

Highly regarded for her work ethic and commitment, Charlotte plays a vital role in building a strong team culture and guiding younger players through the Tigers pathway. Her return ensures the Tigers maintain a core of experience and leadership heading into the 2026 season.

Isa is excited to step foot on court with her sister. “I’m super excited to get to play with Charlie again, playing against her is fun. But playing with her is way better. Also looking forward to being back in Melbourne and at the tiges, I think it’s going to be a lot of fun!”

Charlie has expressed excitement for rejoining forces with sister Isa. “I’m most excited about finally playing with my sister again, I’ve enjoyed our battles as opponents the last few years but I definitely enjoy having her on my team more!”

We’re thrilled to have both Isabella and Charlotte back and can’t wait to see the Brancatisano sisters make their mark in the NBL1 South once again.
