Welcome back Charlotte Brancatisano

The Melbourne Tigers are thrilled to announce the signing of former Tigers junior, Charlotte Brancatisano for the 2024 NBL1 South season.

Charlotte returns to the Tigers after last playing for the Ballarat Miners in 2022, the last time she suited up for Melbourne was in the covid 2021 season where she was a vital member of a strong Tigers squad until the season was cut short.

Charlotte brings a wealth of experience back to the Tigers having had stints playing with the Bendigo Braves, Ballarat Miners and winning a SEABL (NBL1) championship with the Geelong Supercats. Charlotte will add a hard-nosed defensive edge to the Tigers side and a great ability to organise and facilitate for her teammates.

Coach Kaleb Sclater said “I am thrilled to have Charlotte return to the club for next season, I have been lucky enough to have worked with her previously at Tigers and at Ballarat and she is a fantastic person, and she is someone I can trust to do the right thing every time.

Charlotte will do a bit of everything for us, if we need her to score, she will, if we need her to rebound, she will, if we need her to facilitate, she will, and I know that she will bring relentless defensive effort to our team.

Charlotte said “I am super excited to be back at Melbourne Tigers. After a year off from the sport I feel refreshed and ready to go. The team Kaleb has put together is something I am looking forward to being a part of both on and off the court, I am also excited to once again team up with Sara to try and win another championship.”

You will see Charlotte suit up with her teammates in round one, when the Melbourne Tigers take on the Dandenong Rangers Thursday the 4th of April at MSAC.
