Sienna Harvey Joins Melbourne Tigers for 2025 NBL1 South Season

The Melbourne Tigers are thrilled to announce the signing of rising star Sienna Harvey for the 2025 NBL1 South season. A product of the prestigious Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence, Sienna brings an impressive resume and undeniable talent to the Tigers’ roster.

Sienna has represented Australia at multiple junior international tournaments, showcasing her ability to perform on the biggest stages. Most recently, she committed to the University of Washington, where she will continue her development while competing in the highly regarded NCAA Division I.

Known for her lightning-fast speed and crafty ball-handling skills, Sienna is a dynamic guard who excels at breaking down opponents and creating scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Her ability to read the game, combined with her composure under pressure, makes her a significant threat on the court.

Melbourne Tigers Head Coach Kaleb Sclater shared his excitement about Sienna’s signing: “Sienna is a phenomenal talent with a bright future ahead, I truly believe she has a feel for the game and a craftiness that could make her a WNBA player and an Opal one day. Her experience at the Centre of Excellence being coached by Herbie everyday has prepared her to make an immediate impact in the NBL1 South. I was lucky enough to coach Sienna at high school before she got her COE scholarship and she’s a great kid and someone that will fit in with our group both on and off the court.  We’re excited to have her join the Tigers family and look forward to seeing her cause the opposition some headaches next season.”

Sienna also expressed her enthusiasm about joining the Tigers: “I’m so excited to join the Tigers this coming NBL1 season, I am really looking forward to playing with the girls and being a part of such a great club.”  “I’m looking forward to being coached by Kaleb again, he is someone who has helped me a lot so far throughout my career, so reconnecting with him will be good fun.”

Sienna Harvey’s addition to the team underscores the Tigers’ commitment to nurturing young talent and competing at the highest level. Fans can look forward to an exciting season ahead as Sienna begins her journey with the Melbourne Tigers.
