Melbourne Tigers re-sign Homegrown Star Tylah Hooper

The Melbourne Tigers are thrilled to announce that Tylah Hooper, one of the club’s homegrown talents, has re-signed for the upcoming season. Tylah has been with the Tigers since her junior days, showcasing her exceptional skills and dedication as she rose through the ranks.

Known for her ability to provide a scoring spark off the bench, Tylah had multiple standout performances last season, including a 20-point game against Frankston. Her dynamic offensive play and commitment to the team have made her an integral part of the Tigers’ roster.

“I’m really excited to continue with Tylah on board,” said the Tigers’ head coach Kaleb Sclater. “I think she’s one of the most talented young players in the league. She’s proven herself to be a real scoring threat for our team and can change the pace of a game in a few possessions, she’s made a goal and commitment to work on her fitness which I think will lift her consistency from being a spark off the bench to someone that can make a big impact.”

Tylah said “I’m super excited and keen to be re-signing back with Tigers for the upcoming season

I had a great season last year, learning from some very experienced players and coaches.

I’m eager to keep developing as a player and person with an amazing group and not only gain great habits on the court, but off the court as well

Go Tiges”

As a product of the Tigers’ junior development program, Tylah’s journey reflects the club’s commitment to nurturing local talent. Her re-signing is a testament to both her hard work and the strong development pathway at the Melbourne Tigers.
