Join Us for Foodbank’s Emergency Food Drive: Support Our Community This Winter!

As the cold winter months and a cost-of-living crisis loom, many in our community are struggling to put food on the table. To help those in need, the Foodbank is running an Emergency Food Drive this weekend, August 10-11, and we need your support!

How to Participate:

Simply bring any of the below items to any game day this week and drop them off at the designated collection spot (First Aid Room at the basketball courts entrance). Your generous donations will help feed families and individuals who are facing tough times this winter.

When and Where:

  • Thursday: MCBA Senior Domestic games
  • Friday: Melbourne Tigers Juniors VJBL games
  • Saturday: Big V Preliminary Finals and MCBA Junior Domestic games
  • Sunday: MCBA Senior Domestic games

What to Bring:

Foodbank have put a call out collecting the following essential items:

  1. Tuna
  2. Pasta Sauce
  3. Pasta
  4. Rice
  5. Cereal
  6. UHT Milk
  7. Canned Vegetables
  8. Canned Fruit

Why It Matters:

Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact. By donating food items, you are directly helping those who are struggling with food insecurity. Let’s come together as a community and show our support for those who need it most.
