2023-24 VJBL Presentation Awards

On Sunday 8th of September, the awards ceremony for the 2023-24 VJBL Melbourne Tigers took place with 57 teams in attendance. The ceremony started with the announcement of the new award structure marking the inaugural year of both girls and boys programs under the one Melbourne Tigers banner. The awards recognise families that have made a significant contribution to the club and honour the members of the families by naming awards after them.

Player Awards:

Team Player Award: Gaze Award (awarded once per team across entire program)

Girls MVP: Harrower Award (awarded once per team across girls program)

Boys MVP: Giddey Award (awarded once per team across boys program)

Coaches Awards:

Girls Coach of the Year: Tomlinson Award

Boys Coach of the Year: Watson Award

Other Awards:

Volunteer of the Year: Simpson Award
